The scent fingerprint
Weighted by intensity across 24 accords.
Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

By the editors · 2 min readA classical chypre framework carrying a full garden of white florals. Bergamot opens bright and quickly clears, making way for a dense bouquet of tuberose, jasmine, and ylang-ylang threaded with plum and peach — the heliotrope and orange blossom add a powdery sweetness beneath the more persistent rose and violet. The base is uncompromising: oakmoss, leather, civet, and cumin in full expression, the kind of mossy, animal depth that once defined the genre before restrictions reshaped it. Dense and long-wearing, this is a traditional chypre executed without restraint.
