The scent fingerprint
Weighted by intensity across 14 accords.
Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

By the editors · 2 min readDespite the name, the pyramid carries no actual oud — what's listed is a soft floral oriental. Bergamot opens thin; the heart is the perfume's main subject, where neroli, jasmine, ylang, may rose and heliotrope build a cream-and-petal bouquet with peach softening the edges.
The base is restrained: orris and sandalwood for structure, ambergris and vanilla for warmth, patchouli and musk for skin. The orris-vanilla pairing gives the dry-down the same powdery suede signature as its sibling Essence de Parfum, with the composition wearing close to skin after the first hour. Quiet, warm, and far less smoky than the Aoud branding implies.
