By the editors · 2 min readA small green-citrus crack of lime, then straight into a fruit bowl: apple, raspberry, strawberry, plum, with violet and black currant tying the sweetness back to something floral. Jasmine sits underneath as the heart's only true white flower, but most of the perfume's first half reads as juice and petal pressed together.
The base swings the composition into a leather chypre — sandalwood and oakmoss laid against tanned leather and violet leaf, with cinnamon, saffron, pink pepper and patchouli threading spice through. Cedar and musk close it out. The sweet fruit and the tannin base shouldn't work together but do, leaving an oddly sophisticated berry-leather drydown.
