By the editors · 2 min readA bright citrus opening of lemon, grapefruit and bergamot lasts just long enough to set up the heart, where orange blossom, jasmine and rose share space with a candied peach. Violet adds a powdery cool edge that keeps the fruit from going syrupy.
The base swings into chypre territory — oakmoss, patchouli and a green galbanum lift framing ambergris and vanilla, with violet leaf adding a wet, mineral green up high in the dry-down. Cedar and musk close it. The composition never picks one direction; it sits between fruity floral and chypre, with the moss and galbanum doing more work than usual to keep the fruit honest.
