Rosemary, thyme, lime, lemon, grapefruit, and bergamot open in an herbal-citrus fanfare — the rosemary and thyme giving the opening aromatic depth that extends beyond standard citrus freshness. Ylang-ylang and violet hold the heart simply and intentionally: ylang's narcotic sweetness against violet's cool, slightly powdery presence. The heart's minimalism is a compositional choice — a breathing space between the aromatic opening and the rich base rather than an underdeveloped middle.
Moss, galbanum, labdanum, benzoin, vanilla, iris, vetiver, and sandalwood build the base with chypre precision.
