By the editors · 2 min readOligarch opens with an herbal-green-citrus volley — lavender, thyme, lime, lemon, bergamot — that reads more fougère than cologne, thanks to thyme's pungent edge. Apple and coconut soften the transition into a creamy floral heart with lily and orange blossom; the effect is briefly tropical, briefly aldehydic. Then the base announces itself without hesitation: oakmoss and leather provide the classical bones, birch and iris add their respective smoky and powdery dimensions, amber and tonka warm the whole, and galbanum keeps a green accent alive in the drydown. The result is a large, assured fragrance — maximal rather than restrained — that wears its luxury through material density rather than delicacy.
