Gardenia takes the heart, creamy and slightly mushroomy, edged by the cool bite of pink pepper. There is a moist, white-petal quality, more close-eyed than coquettish, with the orange blossom from the wider note set softening any sharpness.
Vetiver and musk hold the base together, lending a clean rooty thread under the floral cream. The overall character is a polished sheer floral, comfortable in offices and warm afternoons, with a quiet powdery musk that fades close to skin rather than projecting.
