By the editors · 2 min readCardamom and bergamot open together, the spice warm and immediate, the citrus bright but quickly subsumed. Within minutes a resinous base begins to assert itself — sandalwood and labdanum pulling the composition toward something dense and amber-rich.
Benzoin and vanilla thicken the core, giving a honeyed, almost candied quality that the patchouli prevents from becoming cloying. Cedar adds structural dryness underneath.
The dry-down is warm and substantial — a resin-heavy amber that leans toward the balsamic end of the spectrum. It wears close to skin in its final hours, the spice receding into a soft, woody sweetness.
