By the editors · 2 min readNeroli and peach lift first, with a tart line of black currant cutting the sweetness. A yuzu thread keeps the opening crisp before the heart blooms — jasmine, lily of the valley, rose — held together with the kind of soft restraint Vocalise was named for.
The dry-down is creamy without being heavy: sandalwood and cedar give it shape; vanilla and heliotrope round the edges into something powdery and skin-close. It dries warm and quiet, the kind of late-90s composition that sat between department-store crowd-pleaser and something more interior. Better worn close than projected outward.
