By the editors · 2 min readThe opening arrives as a dark red fruit compote—strawberries and blackberries macerated in caramel, sticky and intense. This is not the bright, airy fruitiness of summer fragrances but something denser, almost liqueur-like, as though the berries have been reduced to a syrup and left to cool in a shadowed kitchen.
Cinnamon enters quickly, adding dry heat to the sweetness, while raspberry sharpens the composition without making it lighter. The spice tempers what could otherwise drift into confectionery territory. As it settles, tonka bean and vanilla merge with earthy patchouli, anchoring the fruit in something woodier and more grounded.
This is gourmand fragrance for those who prefer their sweetness weighted and nocturnal rather than cheerful. It wears close and warm, a scent for cold evenings and solitary indulgence, unapologetically rich without turning cloying. The kind of thing that leaves traces on scarves and coat collars long after you've taken them off.
