By the editors · 2 min readA walk through a garden at dusk, captured in green-gold light. Lavender and galbanum open with a cool, slightly bitter freshness that feels more herbal than floral, tempered by bergamot's bright citrus. The effect is immediate and grounding, like stepping onto damp grass after rain.
As it settles, Bulgarian rose emerges wrapped in olibanum's resinous smoke, creating an unexpected tension between garden softness and incense solemnity. The rose never becomes loud or syrupy; instead it hovers like a memory of petals crushed underfoot.
The base is where Tauer's signature ambery warmth takes over, blending tonka and vanilla with earthy vetiver and oakmoss. Sandalwood and cedar add woody structure while amber radiates gentle heat. The result feels contemplative rather than seductive—a fragrance for long afternoons alone with a book, or evening walks when the garden exhales its final perfume before nightfall. Unisex, introspective, and quietly persistent.
