Saffron dominates the heart — metallic-floral and dense — alongside orris's chalk-and-violet powder and osmanthus's apricot-leather quality. The combination of saffron and osmanthus is interesting: both carry a golden, faintly animalic register that gives this composition real depth without going heavy.
Guaiac wood and frankincense provide a smoky, resinous base; amber and vanilla warm the whole construction. A clean take on the saffron oriental — accessible rather than opaque, with enough textural interest to reward attention.
