By the editors · 2 min readThe Body Shop Vanilla opens with a maximalist fruit arrangement — coconut, strawberry, plum, peach, lemon, and apricot over bergamot — a generous heap of sweetness that leans more tropical market than structured fragrance. It is very much of its era: overflowing fruity florals stacked on each other with evident enthusiasm.

The heart is an equally generous floral register: tuberose, jasmine, ylang-ylang, lily of the valley, orange blossom, and rose arrive in a dense white-floral statement that provides structural support without taming the sweetness above. Sandalwood, amber, vanilla, and musk ground the composition in a warm, enveloping base. Sweet, unabashedly full, and highly accessible for its type.
