By the editors · 2 min readA heady white floral with an animalic underside. Ylang-ylang opens ripe and creamy, immediately joined by tuberose and jasmine that push the bouquet wide and dense. Heliotrope softens the edges with a powdery, almond-tinged warmth.
What makes it less obvious is the base. Castoreum and styrax give the dry-down a leathery, slightly smoky body — not feral, but not sanitized either. Tonka and sandalwood round it back toward warmth. The progression is from white-flower exuberance to skin-warm resin, and the whole thing wears closer than its opening suggests. Evening, cooler weather, when the floral can bloom without overheating.
