By the editors · 2 min readResinous incense with a green-wood spine. Petitgrain opens bitter and leafy, nutmeg adds a faint warm dust, and the heart slips quickly into atlas cedar — dry, sharpened, almost pencil-shaving in clarity. The transition is fast; this isn't a perfume that lingers in its opening.
The base is where the title earns itself. Frankincense and myrrh layer with guaiac, smoky and balsamic, while vetiver grounds the whole composition in damp earth. Musk softens the edges without sweetening. The result is a serious, contemplative wear — cool-weather, indoor or evening, the kind of fragrance that reads as deliberate rather than decorative.
