By the editors · 2 min readMint, raspberry, pink pepper, grapefruit and bergamot crowd the opening with a busy citrus-fruit-spice top. The mint and grapefruit keep things cool, the raspberry adds sweetness, and pink pepper sparkles between them.
Ginger, melon, jasmine, violet, nutmeg and rose follow in an equally crowded heart. Ginger and nutmeg warm the centre, melon adds a watery softness, and the floral trio gives lift. The middle is busy but legible, with most elements supporting rather than competing.
Amberwood, sandalwood, leather, vetiver, frankincense, labdanum and amber form a wide woody-resinous base. The leather is restrained, the frankincense adds smoke, and amberwood projects modern dryness. Overall the arc is a contemporary woody-aromatic-amber hybrid with masculine framing.
