By the editors · 2 min readCardamom opens the composition alone — a cool, slightly camphorous spice with citrus-green facets. There's no bergamot or pepper to support it; the opening leans austere and almost meditative.
Sage, tarragon, and cedar build the heart into an herbal-aromatic middle, with tarragon's anise-pepper lift sharpening the sage's earthier line. The cedar gives early structural support, pulling the composition toward dry-woods even before the base arrives.
Amber, saffron, and musk close. The saffron lends a leathery-spiced warmth against amber's resinous weight, with musk smoothing the seams. Overall reads as a quiet aromatic-spicy with a faintly leathery drydown — unisex pitch, cooler-weather suited, slower in projection. The sparse pyramid limits inference, but the cardamom-sage-saffron axis is recognisable.
