The heart pivots quickly to a single floral note: jasmine, indolic and slightly heady, propped against the lingering citrus. The transition is direct — no spice or herbal bridge — so the jasmine reads quite exposed.
The base is where the composition deepens substantially. Oakmoss adds a damp green-bitter chypre signature, guaiac wood lends a smoky-tarry edge, ambergris contributes a salty skin warmth, and patchouli grounds it all with earthy depth. The drydown reads vintage-chypre — dark, mossy, and slightly animalic — with the jasmine still detectable as a sweet thread woven through. Projection moderate; finish long.
