By the editors · 2 min readAnise opens with a sharp, licorice snap that feels almost crystalline against the skin. Jasmine blooms in the heart, its indolic cream softening the anise's edge while amplifying the composition's floral diffusion. Oakmoss anchors the base with a bitter-green mineral bite, while amber and vanilla warm the skin, creating a fuzzy, ambery glow. Heliotrope adds a marzipan-like almond softness that lingers after the anise has melted away, turning the dry-down into a powdery, slightly sweet skin-scent. Projection stays moderate for the first three hours, then collapses to a whisper of vanilla-heliotrope. Works best in cool weather where the mossy bitterness can cut through wool and leather.
