By the editors · 2 min readOrion opens with a sharp tropical brightness—pineapple and apple sheared against bergamot—that feels both sun-drenched and strangely austere. The sweetness never sprawls. Within minutes, birch smoke begins threading through the fruit, lending a leather-like dryness, while jasmine and thyme add herbal shadows that keep the composition taut and angular.
The base settles into something darker and more contemplative. Frankincense mingles with oud and cedar, creating a resinous woodiness that feels less Middle Eastern than medieval European—incense in cold stone rather than desert warmth. Musk and amber soften the edges without sweetening them.
This is fruit and smoke held in careful tension, a perfume that refuses to choose between brightness and depth. It suits someone drawn to contrasts: tropical notes worn like armor, sweetness delivered with a straight face.
