By the editors · 2 min readLavender dominates the opening, cool and slightly camphorous, framed by bergamot’s short-lived citrus sparkle and the crisp green of freesia. The heart folds in magnolia’s creamy lemon-tinged petals and violet’s powdery ionone, while iris contributes a dry, carrot-seed earthiness that keeps the bouquet from turning sugary. Double-listed lavender reappears in the base, now softer and coumarin-rich, braided with tonka bean’s soft almond facet and clean white musk that flattens the final trail into a skin-close linen scent. Projection stays polite for about five hours, wafting no farther than handshake distance. Office-safe in spring air-conditioning, yet too muted for humid heat or winter layers.
