A yuzu and bamboo opening gives Delicate Rose an almost aqueous transparency, like light filtering through paper screens.

By the editors · 2 min readA yuzu and bamboo opening gives Delicate Rose an almost aqueous transparency, like light filtering through paper screens. The citrus is bright but restrained, supported by a subtle vegetal note that reads more as atmosphere than ingredient.
As it settles, the rose emerges gradually through layers of crisp apple and jasmine. The florals feel contained rather than exuberant—rose petals pressed between book pages rather than a garden in full bloom. There's a soft-focus quality to the composition, each element slightly diffused into the next.
The base of sandalwood, cedar, and musk maintains this gauzy character. It stays close to skin, more suggestion than statement, with enough woody structure to keep it from floating away entirely. Best suited to someone who wants floral presence without commanding a room, or seeking a daytime rose that won't overwhelm an office environment.
