By the editors · 2 min readPlum, peach, and cardamom open as a faceted fruit-spice trio — the cardamom dry and aromatic, the fruits ripe but not syrupy. The opening reads sophisticated rather than juicy, with the cardamom anchoring everything.
The heart is a wide-open floral chamber. Orris, tuberose, jasmine, ylang, iris, and rose layer over each other. Iris and orris add cool powder; tuberose and jasmine add white-floral creaminess; ylang waxy warmth; rose a jammy lift. The composition feels stately and slightly old-world.
Oakmoss, civet, vetiver, amber, vanilla, and patchouli form a dense chypre-leaning base. Civet adds restrained animalic depth, oakmoss earthy darkness, amber and vanilla warmth. The drydown is polished and complex, with the florals persisting through a long, woody-mossy finish.
