By the editors · 2 min readBlack pepper, clove, and cardamom open in a tightly packed spice burst, lemon and grapefruit adding a sharp citrus edge that prevents the top from feeling too dense. Nutmeg deepens the warmth from the first breath.
Lavender, rosemary, peppermint, and clary sage shift the middle hard toward aromatic — there's an almost mentholated coolness here that runs counter to the spice, with peppermint giving the heart a surprising barbershop-cool register that lasts well into wear.
Frankincense, labdanum, benzoin, and patchouli close the composition with smoke and resin, balsamic and slightly ashy. The arc moves from spicy to cool to smoke, a layered fougère-amber profile with strong evening register and slow-burning warmth into the drydown.
