By the editors · 2 min readBergamot opens with a bright, peppery snap that quickly folds into nutmeg’s warm, dusty sweetness. Oud and patchouli arrive together, the oud delivering a dry, leathery smoke while patchouli adds an earthy, chocolate-like thickness that keeps the heart from floating away. Ambergris threads a salty, skin-like radiance through the middle, softening the smoke and letting the frankincense glow rather than billow. As it settles, white musk and amber form a powder-tinged, resinous skin scent that smells like cooled incense ash rubbed with suede. Projection drops to arm’s length within three hours, leaving a quiet curl of woodsmoke and musk. Cool evenings and layered clothing let the incense smolder slowly.
