By the editors · 2 min readSaffron and bergamot open with the dry, leathery warmth typical of high-end Middle Eastern compositions, jasmine adding a brief floral lift before the spices take over. The effect is rich and slightly medicinal in the best way.
Amberwood ushers in the heart, smooth and slightly resinous, while the base oud unfurls in earnest — animalic, smoky, with a leather-adjacent depth. Sandalwood and patchouli add creaminess and damp earth, vetiver a green metallic edge. The whole sits dense on skin, projection strong in the first hours, then settling into a long dry-down of woods, smoke, and resin.
Overall a serious oud composition: warm, smoky, leathery. Made for cold evenings, formal wear, statement contexts.
