By the editors · 2 min readZefiro opens with a bright bergamot that quickly gives way to its true nature: a spice-driven iris carried on waves of incense smoke. The cinnamon and cardamom here aren't sweet-shop fillers but dry, resinous accents that amplify the iris's cool, earthy facets rather than warming them. This is iris as aromatic root, not powdered cosmetic.

As it settles, honey and amber provide a golden undertow without turning gourmand. The incense remains present throughout, threading smoke through every stage and keeping the composition firmly in ceremonial territory. The overall effect is meditative but not austere—imagine sunlit resin in a stone chapel rather than evening opulence.

Best suited to those who appreciate iris in its more austere, spiced forms and don't mind fragrance that leans contemplative. It wears close and evolves slowly, rewarding patience over the course of a day.
