By the editors · 2 min readThis is a leather scent built on a citrus-herbal frame rather than the reverse — black pepper and bergamot clear the throat, but they're prologue. Violet leaf introduces a cool, almost metallic green note before orange blossom brings a fleeting sweetness. Then the base takes over: leather, benzoin, and suede form a dense, slightly resinous core with cedar adding structure.

The ambergris gives it a quiet marine quality that keeps the leather from closing in on itself. It's a confident, mature masculine — assertive without aggression, better in cool weather than heat.

This wears best on skin that runs warm; the heat accelerates the leather's opening and draws out the benzoin's soft sweetness in the dry-down.
