By the editors · 2 min readA bright citrus duo opens — bergamot and mandarin together, neither sharp nor sweet, just clean. The lift lasts only briefly before the heart takes the spotlight.
White florals dominate the middle: ylang-ylang's tropical creaminess, jasmine sambac's indolic depth, and orange blossom's soft soapy register. Saffron weaves through them — leathery, faintly metallic, more textural than foreground spice. The pairing of warm florals with saffron gives the composition its most distinctive turn.
The base settles on patchouli and amyris — woody, earthy, gently smoky. A spiced floral with oriental undertones, suited to cool evenings rather than peak heat.
