A whisper of rose hip in the opening — slightly tart, fruity-floral, less the jam of mature rose and more the green pucker of the hip.

By the editors · 2 min readA whisper of rose hip in the opening — slightly tart, fruity-floral, less the jam of mature rose and more the green pucker of the hip. It functions as an invitation rather than a centerpiece.
The heart arrives full and crowded: rose at the lead with peony, violet, bellflower, orange blossom, and lily of the valley arranged as a fresh bouquet. The effect is intentionally damp and morning-bright — no warmth, no dust, no jam, just multiple light florals layered in the same register.
A quiet base of white musk and sandalwood lets the bouquet fade without dragging it into evening territory. A spring-only floral, made to wear briefly and softly.
