The scent fingerprint
Weighted by intensity across 10 accords.
Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

By the editors · 2 min readA Perfume In Rose is a three-note soliflore built to deliver exactly what the name promises. Pear softens the rose opening — making it rounder and fruitier — then recedes as a clean, straightforward rose settles in for the duration. The base is ambrette, a musky seed note with a slight fatty, slightly sweet quality that anchors the floral without sweetening it or pulling it into powder. There is nothing beyond that skeleton, which is either the point or a limitation. This wears close, fades without drama, and suits situations that call for light, inoffensive femininity — the kind of scent that registers as clean skin rather than perfume.
