Vanilla takes over quickly and runs the rest of the fragrance. It's a soft, custardy vanilla rather than a boozy or smoked one, kept in check by sandalwood underneath. The wood reads more powdery than dry, lending the sweetness a slight haze.
The overall character is a quiet skin warmth — the kind of scent intended to register as comforting rather than as a perfume. Linear, close-wearing, gentle. It does the one thing it sets out to do.
