By the editors · 2 min readA citrus-amber sketch with the floral middle removed. Lemon opens cold and sharp, dosed enough that nutmeg behind it reads more as warmth than as a discrete spice — the two together make the start feel like preserved peel.
With no heart in between, the fragrance cuts directly to its base: ambrox and ambroxan twinned together with vetiver and cashmeran. That's a synthetic ambery-woody triangle — clean, slightly metallic, faintly soapy — that holds the lemon's brightness much longer than the citrus has any right to last.
The missing middle is the defining feature. The lemon meets the woods directly, which makes the composition feel exposed but consistent. Long-wearing for its category.
