By the editors · 2 min readA Jo Malone composition for Zara's 2021 Blossom Collection, and the lineage shows: green mandarin and mandarin orange open with that signature bright, almost-translucent citrus, juicy without being sticky. The transition is quick — neroli and jasmine arrive nearly together, both more luminous than indolic, sketching the white-flower idea in pale strokes.
The drydown is amber and musk, soft and laundry-clean, holding the florals at a sociable distance rather than pulling them into anything heavy. It's a daytime perfume in the cleanest sense — bright, cordial, undemanding — built for spring shoulders and bare wrists.
