By the editors · 2 min readPansy Orchid is one of Zara's deliberately minimal compositions — only three notes, each kept distinct. Red berries open it: tart, slightly jammy, more raspberry than strawberry.
Orchid in the heart reads as the synthetic-floral idea of an orchid rather than a real bloom — clean, slightly soapy, with no animalic edge. It glides under the berry without truly displacing it.
The base is a single note of moss — green, faintly bitter, giving the fragrance a forest-floor undertone that grounds the fruit. The structure is intentional, not sparse: each note is given room to breathe. A short-wear scent meant for daytime, nothing more.
