By the editors · 2 min readThree notes, no filler. Pistachio at the top is mildly sweet and slightly buttery, without the full-sugar dessert arc a more commercial approach might reach for. Iris in the heart dries everything down — cool, rooty, and powdery — creating an interesting tension with the gourmand top note.
Tonka in the base adds just enough vanilla-sweet warmth to complete the dry-down. The result is more abstract and wearable than the name suggests, leaning soft iris-powder rather than pistachio cream. A compact composition that proves the stripped-down approach can work when the three notes genuinely complement each other.
