The scent fingerprint
Weighted by intensity across 12 accords.
Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

By the editors · 2 min readFrom the Ocean Collection Jo Malone created for Zara, Salty Ocean Bouquet is the freshest and most aquatic of the trio. Black pepper and bergamot set a prickly-citrus opening before a heart dominated by sea salt and aquatic Sea Notes takes over. Orange blossom lifts the marine core with a subtle white-floral sweetness that prevents it reading as generic ocean spray.
Woody notes at the base add a dry, grounding anchor — light enough not to interrupt the watery freshness, present enough to stop it from evaporating entirely. The Jo Malone lineage shows in the restraint: well-separated notes, nothing muddled.
Warm-weather daytime wear; outdoor and beach use; works well in humid heat.
