By the editors · 2 min readThe opening reads as cold air over wet stone — the mineral note convention, ozone scrubbed of any synthetic sweetness. There's no citrus, no bright fruit; just a clean, slightly metallic transparency that sits high in the nose.
Black pepper in the heart adds a quiet crackle, more crystalline than fiery. It's the only real warmth in the composition. Cedar settles underneath with a dry, sharpened-pencil quality, holding the structure rather than enriching it. The result is austere, masculine-coded, and stays close to skin — the kind of fragrance you reach for in cold weather when you want presence without projection. Comparable in family to the alpine-water Creed it's often shopped against.
