Weighted by intensity across 7 accords.

By the editors · 2 min readLavender opens the heart unusually — there is no top-tier citrus or aromatic to set it up, so the herb arrives upfront, dry and a little camphorous. Nutmeg threads through it, lending the lavender a warmer, slightly kitchen-spice character.
The base settles into amber, soft and resinous, where the herbal opening loses its sharpness and turns into something closer to a sweet smoke. The contrast between the cool-aromatic top of the composition and the warm-resinous floor is the whole shape of the wear.
A cozy, gender-leaning-masculine register suited to cooler evenings. The structure is minimal but the warmth in the dry-down keeps it from feeling thin.
