The scent fingerprint
Weighted by intensity across 8 accords.
Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

By the editors · 2 min readCreated for Zara's Jo Malone Vibrant Cities series, Stunningly Venice is deliberately minimal. Bergamot opens with clean brightness; a red-berry accord follows, reading more cranberry-tart than jammy-sweet. The dry-down is myrrh — a resinous, gently incense-like base that gives the composition more weight and staying power than its note count implies.
The arc from citrus-fruit to balsamic resin is genuinely interesting for a fragrance this lean. It fades within a few hours, but the transition justifies the short ride. Works equally well as a standalone light option or as a base layer under heavier orientals.
