By the editors · 2 min readCardamom opens green-warm, almost vegetal, more pod than spice rack. Carrot seeds at the heart give a powdery, slightly rooty bridge — quieter than the name "elixir" suggests. The base settles into sandalwood and a generic woody accord: creamy, dry, and persistent without becoming dense.
Despite the "leather" billing on the family bottle line, no leather note is listed in this flanker, and none materializes on skin. What you get is a clean masculine wood that wears closer than it projects — five or six hours of legible drydown, polite for office, weighted enough for cool evenings. Among Zara's recent woods this one keeps its scale.
