By the editors · 2 min readDespite the name, no leather appears in the actual pyramid — this is a smoky resin study, full stop. Peruvian pepper (schinus molle) opens with a dry, peppery pink-red rasp, sharper and more acerbic than ordinary black pepper.
Olibanum settles in the heart, the cool gray smoke of frankincense without sweetness or church-balm warmth. Elemi resin underneath is brighter, almost piney, lifting the incense out of meditative seriousness into something more wearable. The whole composition runs minimal and dry — a transparent, mineral incense for someone who wants the genre stripped of oud, amber, or balsamic padding. Close to skin, suited to cool weather, more contemplative than overt.
