By the editors · 2 min readCoffee opens here without any of the dessert sweetness it usually announces. Black pepper and bergamot supply edge and lift, keeping the dark roast from turning syrupy. Frankincense enters mid-dry with orris root adding a dry, powdery stiffness — the combination reads more incense church than morning café. Clary sage pulls the composition toward herbal abstraction before the base settles into cashmeran's soft synthetic warmth, palo santo smoke, and a modest tonka sweetness.
The result is a woody-aromatic masculine: coffee as mood rather than flavor, incense as structure rather than ritual. One of the more complete compositions in the WO line — worth reaching for when the weather turns.
