By the editors · 2 min readWith no top notes, the perfume opens directly on its heart: lavender, ylang-ylang, and nutmeg together. Lavender carries the aromatic backbone — clean and camphor-bright — while ylang-ylang adds a creamy custardy floral warmth and nutmeg lends a warm-spicy hum. The start is unusually dense, with no citrus lift.
The development is short and the composition feels two-stage. The heart settles into the base quickly.
Leather and amber close the structure. Leather adds a soft suede-meets-smoky animalic edge, while amber rounds it with resinous warmth. With no wood or musk to soften it, the drydown stays plush and faintly animal. Overall a leather-lavender-ylang oriental, retro in feel. Projection moderate, longevity strong.
