By the editors · 2 min readA summer flanker pared back to its bones. Bergamot opens thin and bright, almost transparent — there's no aromatic herb supporting it, so the citrus alone has to set the tone.
The heart slides immediately into a sea-notes accord: that calone-driven combination of melon, salt and ozone that reads as fresh laundry hung near the coast. Bergamot lingers underneath rather than handing off cleanly. Then amber arrives at the base, soft and slightly sweet, warming the marine accord into something more skin-like than oceanic by the end.
Linear, light, mostly intended for hot weather. The interesting part is how the amber softens what is otherwise a typical aquatic.
