By the editors · 2 min readZara Rose EDT condenses the classic rose approach into three notes, stripped to their essential function. Black currant opens with a tart, slightly dark fruitiness that lends the opening a brief sharpness before the peony heart arrives. Peony, with its rose-adjacent but softer character, bridges the opening and the rose base.
The base rose is neither naturalistic nor overdone — a clean, slightly sweet floral anchor. At three notes total this is one of the more austere entries in the line, but it holds together because the sequence is logical: tart → soft floral → clean rose. Suited to moments when you want rose without weight or ceremony.
