Acorelle
Certified-organic French perfumery.
Acorelle is a French organic-fragrance brand launched in 2006 by Régine Berthelot under the umbrella of Laboratoire Odysud, part of the Laurence Dumont group, in the south-west of France. It positioned itself early as one of the first Ecocert/Cosmebio-certified perfume houses, building scents on an alcohol base distilled from organically grown wheat rather than the petrochemical denatured alcohol common to mainstream perfumery. Fragrance composition is led by Grasse perfumer Philippe Collet and stays close to the natural-perfumery vocabulary: neroli, rose, mimosa, lavender, vetiver, soft incense, sometimes structured around aromatherapy intentions (relaxation, energy, grounding) more than fashion abstractions. Distribution runs through organic-cosmetics retailers and pharmacies. It suits a wearer who prioritises clean ingredients and certification over projection or complexity — natural, soft, and gently aromatherapeutic.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
