Acqua Delle Langhe
The art of perfume at the heart of Piedmont.
Acqua Delle Langhe is an Italian niche fragrance house founded in 2012 by Alberto Avetta in Piedmont's Langhe wine country, one of the most celebrated agricultural landscapes in Europe. The brand's founding premise is that the Langhe — famed for Barolo and Barbaresco vineyards, truffle grounds, and medieval hilltop villages — constitutes as rich an olfactory territory as any traditional fragrance-sourcing region. Avetta translates this terroir philosophy into a collection of fragrances named after specific Piedmontese places and seasonal experiences: Notte di Tartufo, Rosa Bricco, and Bosco Persistente among them. The compositions draw on the region's characteristic raw materials — hazelnuts, truffle accord, oak, rain-soaked earth, and wildflowers — crafting scents that feel simultaneously rooted in place and entirely contemporary. The house distributes through select Italian retailers, its own boutique, and specialist international niche perfume retailers who appreciate terroir-driven fragrance storytelling. Acqua Delle Langhe occupies a firmly niche position, connecting wine-country culture to perfumery with admirable directness.
