Aimée De Mars
French natural perfumery in the Aromaparfumerie tradition.
Aimée de Mars is a French natural-perfume house founded in 2015 by Valérie Demars after two decades working in the cosmetics industry. The brand is named for her grandmother and is built on what Demars trademarked as Aromaparfumerie: a working method that combines fine-perfumery composition with the principles of aromatherapy, leaning on essential oils and plant-based aromatic materials rather than the full conventional palette. The laboratory sits in the Loiret region of central France, and formulations are positioned as organic, vegan, and free of synthetic musks and phthalates. Releases are quiet, often built around named archetypes — Aphrodite, Cybele, Amphitrite — and the bottles favour soft pastel labels over luxury hardware. Aimée de Mars belongs to the small but distinct category of French houses where natural cosmetics ethics and perfumery ambition share the same studio.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
