Ajne

Ajne is a Californian natural-perfumery house founded in 2002 by Jane and Rex Hendler, who opened the original showroom in Carmel-by-the-Sea and later relocated production to Napa Valley. Jane is a certified natural perfumer and aromatherapist, and the line's defining commitment is to compositions built only from essential oils, absolutes, and CO2 extracts — no synthetic aroma chemicals, phthalates, or petrochemical solvents. Many ingredients are USDA organic, and the catalogue runs across solid perfume pendants, oil-based extraits, and ambient-diffusion blends, with particular strength in chypre, rose, vetiver, and resinous registers. Bespoke blending sessions remain a core service. Clients have included Four Seasons and Rosewood properties for ambient diffusion, alongside a long-standing private clientele.
